Matt & Kailey Tie the knott!
This wedding was nothing short of pure bliss! So in love and so adorable!
I had asked them to provide me a copy of their vows and why they choose them...
Matt and Kailey's Vows:
I love you. I take you as my wife/husband, but also as my best friend. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, and love you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I promise to be there for you always when life seems easy and when it seems hard. When our love is simple and when it is an effort, I promise to cherish you. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live.
Many bride and grooms are now choosing to do a "First Look" on their wedding day. I have to say they are one of my fav things right now about weddings!!! Such a fun an intimate moment to view each other. (also helps to take the pressure off to really enjoy the cermony)
"We chose these vows because they represent who we are as individuals and also as a couple. We were friends first and we want to base our marriage on the friendship we created long before we knew we loved each other. A friendship that was based on honesty, respect, and mutuality. Our relationship is not based on give to get, but rather give simply to give. We are devoted to always give all of ourselves to God first, and then to each other regardless of what circumstances we face. We recognize that a marriage is not just about a husband and wife, but that a good marriage takes three- husband, wife, and God. Our ceremony was filled with scripture that reflects God's perfect and holy plan for marriage and for our lives together and we are so excited for the journey He has provided for us." Even though they might be young i can surely tell you they have a fantastic start to marriage with all the perfect rock to stand together on.
Our favorite part of our ceremony was when the officient stated "May you never take each other's love for granted but always experience that wonder that exclaims, 'Out of all the world, you have chosen me!'"
